On-road Racing

 

 

 

200mm Nitro - 190mm Electric - 1/8 scale Nitro - Sportsman

Entry Fees - $20 per entry or $16 NEAR member
This excludes entry fees for the New England Grand Prix

 Any class with 3 or more entries may be added at race directors discretion. We will do our best to make sure everyone has a chance to race on Sunday.

 Open practice will begin at 10:00am and racing will start at noon. There will be 3 rounds of 5 minute heats with 5 minute mains for the top three classes. Longer mains for nitro classes may be added depending on class turnout. The Length of the Sportsman main will depend on car count and type.

  Electric classes will be run on a shortened course not including large oval backstretch.

Mod touring.

Stock touring

1/8 2&4wd GTP.
  • 1/10 scale 4 wheel drive touring car.
  • Touring car type body. (GTP bodies not allowed)
  • Wheel base not to exceed 200mm.
  • Foam or rubber tires.
  • Must have working brakes.
  • 1/10 scale 4 wheel drive electric touring car
  • Touring car type body. (GTP bodies not allowed)
  • Wheel base not to exceed 190mm.
  • Foam or rubber tires.
  • 4300 max battery
  • Any modified electric motor
  • 1/10 scale 4 wheel drive electric touring car
  • Touring car type body. (GTP bodies not allowed)
  • Wheel base not to exceed 190mm.
  • Foam or rubber tires
  • 4300 max battery
  • Any ROAR approved 27t stock motor
  • 1/8 scale 2 or 4 wheel drive.
  • GTP style bodies only.
  • .21 nitro engine.
  • Must have working brakes.

 

Sportsman (run what ya brung)
Open to any on-road type electric or nitro car (No trucks).

Rules for all classes except Sportsman will be based on ROAR specs.
