Well I have damage a Lipo battery and afaird to charge it. MY Spur Gear for my MBX5R-E grinded down the hard case.
I have the clearance away from the spur gear for the battery tray. I think I need to switch to a 4s battery & a single battery config. but i need help with it. So PM me if you can help.
Also anyone want to buy 2s 1p 5000 Team Orion Lipos with balancer? sell the dmg one for 50$ and the other one for 100$. They will come with Traxxas Connectors & Deans.
i will try to get pictures of the dmg.
kind of bummed out about it. should be able to pick up a 4s Lipo from Dave next month. But I need someone to solder the connector for a single battery set-up.
I think about getting this one:

price is not bad. but if u can find something cheaper and still a hard case and Dimensions close to 45mm X 168mm.
well thanks for the help peeps. _________________

If the gear only cut the case and not the LIPO cell(s) you should be fine. Carefully examine the battery. _________________ Mike

i did carefully examined the battery it looks like it cut down to a sliver metal thing. It feels soft and somewhat hard idk if i should crack the case open or would that be a bad idea??? I know it hasn't blown up but i am afaird to charge it. Hoping I can get pictures today. _________________

The metal thing is the cells case. It looks like heavy duty almuminum foil with plastic. If the spur didn't get into it you should be OK. Put tape or use silicone goop to cover up the opening. _________________ Mike
